🎈 About Us

Roter Ballonchen-Club e.V. – The Red Balloon-Club – was born out of an ordinary, or perhaps not so ordinary, story.
It was founded by women brought together by singing, by coincidence and a bit of fate — or maybe rather by a love for shared harmony.
They met to sing. They stayed to create something more.

Over time, it turned out that besides a love for music, each of us had other passions – very different, sometimes completely distant, yet all somehow connected to the broad world of culture and art.
This mix of interests turned out not to be an obstacle, but an inspiration.
That’s how the idea was born — to create a shared space where these different paths could meet.

The group from which it all began keeps changing, reshaping, evolving,
but the idea of the association remains unchanged:
we want to create, meet, inspire and support culture – in the best way we can.

🏠 Our space – not yet our own, but already shared

Although we don’t yet have a permanent address, we already have a place in the hearts of many people.
We meet regularly on Tuesdays at a friendly association that has taken us under its wing.
We are also guests of other activists and Polish community institutions in Berlin,
who kindly support us and accompany us on this journey.

The road to founding the association was long, winding, and full of twists and turns –
but also full of people who helped us believe it was worth it.
Thanks to them – despite doubts, missteps, and improvisation –
we continue, we learn, and we keep trying.

For every conversation, room, cup of tea, and kind word –
we are deeply grateful.

Because this little balloon rises only thanks to the many hands holding its string together. ❤️
